This is another great fight we are gonna see. Matt has finished 6 of his last fights and 2nd most finishes in WW Division (9). Ellenberger has to prove a lot today and he had been firing towards his opponents throughout his career. He had good and bad moments but now he had the best camp and trainers around him Lets go.

Round # 1: Ellenberger starts the fight with a huge KO punch, Matt goes down but somehow survives. He is now recovered and scoring points as well. But out of no where, Ellenberger hits a devastating body kick, down goes Matt BrownEllenberger follows with big over the top punches. It is all over.

Winner: Jake Ellenberger via KO

Analysis: As i told earlier Jake has go the power and can deliver, but finishing Matt in his first round is an amazing work for him. This will be a huge confidence booster for Jake and he will take advantage of it in his next fights.

Rose Namajunas vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz

This is the best fight you are going to see in Women Straw-weight Division. Kowalkiewicz is 9-0 in her career, never lost. Rose had shown what she can do in her last 3 fights.

Round # 1: Rose landing good punches. Rose is countering every good attack of Kowalkiewicz with good punch or jab. Rose gets a take down at the end as well.

Round # 2: We have a changed and more energetic Kowalkiewicz in this round. She hits Rose with powerful knees while clinching her. Good round for Kowalkiewicz.

Round # 3: Kowalkiewicz continues with her clinching + knee plan. And she lands good number of those. Rose finds her opportunities and hits her as well. We have a very close round # 3.

Winner: Karolina Kowalkiewicz by Split Decision

Analysis: This was without a doubt one of the best fight of the night. Also shows the potential in Women Straw-weight division. Karolina Kowalkiewicz is definitely going to face the current Straw-weight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

UFC 201 Results Analysis and Final Review:

Analysis: They both respect each other and they train at same gym as well. Both showed respect to each other after the fight as well. But Tyron Woodley has done it, he promised Dana White that he is going to show him how strong he is. I analyzed the fight few days back and said we are gonna see a KO fight. I said that Tyron is going for the kill and he did. I WAS TOTALLY RIGHT. You can read the complete details here Lawler vs. Woodley Analysis: Can Tyron Woodley beat Robbie Lawler at UFC 201?.

This is it from the UFC 201 Results and analysis. It was a good but underrated UFC event. But we had very good fights 5 KO finishes, 4 of them were in the very first round. And we had 2 split decision fights as well. So overall i think this was a energetic and good event. The next big UFC event is UFC 202 which will be featuring Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz 2.
