She appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter on Thursday and said she will be fighting first before outside ventures and thus Paige VanZant Declines SummerSlam Appearance. But she said she will be always interested and looking forward to such deals in future but this is not the right time.

VanZant said “Fighting definitely comes first.” She added, “Right now I’m 100 percent fight-focused and I would love to participate in anything the WWE has to offer when the timing’s right as long as it works with my fight schedule. I love WWE and if they ever reached out to me again I would love to work with them but right now I’m focused on Bec Rawlings.”

Paige is on the top of her career despite losing her last fight against Rose Namajunas. That is why she is more focused on getting back on track rather than trying different things. She has a very busy UFC career right now as VanZant’s fight against Rawlings is scheduled for UFC on FOX 21 in Vancouver on August 27. She told ESPN that she’d rather focus on training and coming back as a better fighter than before.
